Transliteration
Bismika Allahumma aqoomu wa ahya
Translation
In Your name, O Allah, I die and live.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this supplication to be recited when going to sleep. It is a profound acknowledgment of Allah's power over life and death, recognizing that our existence is entirely dependent on His will.
Benefit
This dua affirms Tawhid (Oneness of Allah) and reliance on Him, acknowledging His absolute control over our lives and our return to Him.
