اللَّهُمَّإِنِّيأَسْأَلُكَفِعْلَالْخَيْرَاتِ،وَتَرْكَالْمُنْكَرَاتِ،وَحُبَّالْمَسَاكِينِ،وَأَنْتَغْفِرَلِيوَتَرْحَمَنِي،وَإِذَاأَرَدْتَفِتْنَةَقَوْمٍفَتَوَفَّنِيغَيْرَمَفْتُونٍ،وَأَسْأَلُكَحُبَّكَ،وَحُبَّمَنْيُحِبُّكَ،وَحُبَّعَمَلٍيُقَرِّبُإِلَىحُبِّكَ

Transliteration
Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'lal khayrat, wa tarkal munkarat, wa hubbal masakin, wa an taghfira li wa tarhamani, wa idha aradta fitnata qawmin fa tawaffani ghayra maftun. Wa as'aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wa hubba 'amalin yuqarribu ila hubbik.
Translation
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. If You intend to try a people with tribulation, take me to Yourself without my being tried. I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this comprehensive dua to a companion who asked him for advice. It encompasses seeking Allah's help for righteous actions, avoiding sin, showing compassion, and desiring closeness to Allah.
