رَبَّنَاهَبْلَنَامِنْأَزْوَاجِنَاوَذُرِّيَّاتِنَاقُرَّةَأَعْيُنٍ،وَاجْعَلْنَالِلْمُتَّقِينَإِمَامًا

Transliteration

Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a'yunin, waj'alna lil-muttaqina imama

Translation

Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and our offspring a comfort to our eyes, and make us leaders of the righteous.

This profound supplication, found in Surah Al-Furqan (25:74), is uttered by the 'Ibad-ur-Rahman, the devoted servants of the Most Merciful, as they aspire to live lives of piety and righteousness. O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant. I keep Your covenant and my pledge to You as best I can. I take refuge in You from the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin — so forgive me, for none forgives sins but You.
