Dua for Relief from Debt — Allahumma Akfini

اَللّٰهُمَّاكْفِنِيْبِحَلَالِكَعَنْحَرَامِكَوَاَغْنِنِيْبِفَضْلِكَعَمَّنْسِوَاكَ

Transliteration
Allahumma akfini bihalalika 'an haramika wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwaka
Translation
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, instead of what You have made unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need anyone but You.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this dua to Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) when he asked for a way to pay off his debt. It is a powerful supplication to seek Allah's provision and independence from need.
Benefit
This dua asks Allah to provide lawful means to meet one's needs, thereby protecting from unlawful earnings and dependence on others. It fosters contentment and trust in Allah's generous provision.
