Seeking Forgiveness and Repentance — More Than Seventy Times

قَالَرَسُولُاللَّهِصلىاللهعليهوسلم:((وَاللَّهِإِنِّيلأَسْتَغفِرُاللَّهَوَأَتُوبُإِلَيْهِفِيالْيَوْمِأَكْثَرَمِنْسَبْعِينَمَرَّةٍ)).

Transliteration
Qala Rasulullah ﷺ: 'Wallahi inni la'astaghfirullah wa atubu ilayhi fil yawmi akthara min sab'ina marrah.'
Translation
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stated, 'By Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day.'
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, despite being free from sin, emphasized the importance of constant repentance and seeking Allah's forgiveness. He said this to highlight the immense need for Muslims to turn back to Allah frequently throughout their day.
