اللَّهُمَّاهْدِنِيوَسَدِّدْنِيوَاذْكُرْبِهِدَايَتِكَسَوَادَقَلْبِيوَبِتَسْدِيدِكَجَمِيعَأَمْرِي

Transliteration
Allahumma ihdini wa saddidni, wadhkur bi hidayatika sawada qalbi, wa bi tasdeedika jamee'a amri.
Translation
O Allah, guide me and set me aright. Make my heart firm with Your guidance and all my affairs with Your setting aright.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this comprehensive dua to Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) when he asked for guidance. It encompasses seeking Allah's direction in all aspects of life, especially when preparing for a significant act like prayer.
