Seeking Allah's Forgiveness — A Hundred Times Daily

وَقَالَصلىاللهعليهوسلم:((إِنَّهُلَيُغَانُعَلَىقَلْبِيوَإِنِّيلأَسْتَغْفِرُاللَّهَفِيالْيَوْمِمِائَةَمَرَّةٍ)).

Transliteration
Innahu layughaanu 'ala qalbi wa inni astaghfirullaha fil yawmi mi'ata marrah.
Translation
My heart becomes preoccupied, and I seek Allah's forgiveness one hundred times a day.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ mentioned that his heart would sometimes become preoccupied, and he would then turn to Allah seeking forgiveness. He stated that he personally sought Allah's forgiveness one hundred times each day.
Benefit
This teaches us the immense importance of constant repentance, even for the most righteous. It encourages us to maintain a high level of spiritual awareness and seek Allah's pardon regularly.
