Lā ilāha ill-Allāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa huwa AAlā kulli shay'in qadīr. Lā ilāha ill-Allāhu waḥdahu, anjaza waʿdahu, wa naṣara ʿabdahu, wa hazamal-aḥzāba waḥdah.
Translation
None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, aided His Servant, and single-handedly defeated the confederates.
Context
During the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ farewell pilgrimage, when he approached Mount Safa, he recited the verse 'Indeed, Safa and Marwah are from the symbols of Allah.' He then began with Safa, climbing it until he could see the Kaaba. Facing the Qiblah, he recited this powerful declaration of Tawhid and praise.
Benefit
This supplication affirms Allah's absolute oneness, His dominion, and His power to fulfill His promises and grant victory, reminding us of His might during significant acts of worship.
When to Recite
Recited at Mount Safa and Mount Marwah during Hajj and Umrah, after reciting the Quranic verse.
