Prophet's Dua for a Unique Kingdom

Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhi 3522

اللَّهُمَّآتِنِيحُكْمًاوَأَلْحِقْنِيبِالصَّالِحِينَ

Transliteration

Allahumma ati-ni hukman wa alhiq-ni bis-salihin

Translation

O Allah, grant me wisdom and join me with the righteous.

Context

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ recited this supplication when he was asked by some of his companions about the best of mankind. He explained that the best of mankind are those who fulfill Allah's commands and are righteous.

Benefit

This dua seeks Allah's guidance to attain wisdom and to be counted among the righteous, reflecting a desire for spiritual excellence and closeness to Allah.

When to Recite

Can be recited at any time, especially when seeking guidance or reflecting on righteous deeds.
