Supplication While Prostrating

وَقَالَصلىاللهعليهوسلم:((أَقْرَبُمَايَكُونُالْعَبْدُمِنْرَبِّهِوَهُوَسَاجِدٌفَأَكثِرُواالدُّعَاءَ)).

Transliteration
Aqrabu ma yakoonu al-'abdu min Rabbihi wa huwa saajidun, fa akthirud-du'aa'.
Translation
The servant is closest to his Lord when he is in prostration. Therefore, supplicate abundantly during this state.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught his followers that the closest they can be to Allah is while in prostration during prayer. He encouraged them to seize this opportune moment for earnest supplication.
Benefit
This dua encourages sincere and focused prayer, reminding us that Allah is most accessible when we are in our most humble state before Him.
When to Recite
During prostration (Sujud) in any prayer.
