Responding to the Adhan — Witnessing Allah's Oneness

يَقُولُ:((وَأَنَاأَشْهَدُأَنْلاَإِلَهَإِلاَّاللَّهُوَحْدَهُلاَشَرِيكَلَهُوَأَنَّمُحَمَّداًعَبْدُهُوَرَسُولُهُ،رَضِيتُبِاللَّهِرَبَّاً،وَبِمُحَمَّدٍرَسُولاً،وَبِالْإِسْلاَمِدِينَاً))((يَقُولُذَلِكَعَقِبَتَشَهُّدِالْمُؤَذِّنِ)).

Transliteration
wa ana ash-hadu an la ilaha ill-Allah wahdahu la shareeka lah, wa anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasooluh. Radheetu billahi Rabban, wa bi Muhammadin Rasoolan, wa bil-Islami deenan.
Translation
And I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. And that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. I am pleased with Allah as Lord, Muhammad as Messenger, and Islam as religion.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to recite this after hearing the Mu'adhdhin (the one who calls the adhan) recite the declaration of faith. It's a beautiful way to affirm our belief in Allah and His Messenger in response to the call to prayer.
