Angels Convey Greetings to the Prophet ﷺ

Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i 1282

وَقَالَصلىاللهعليهوسلم:((إِنَّلِلَّهِمَلاَئِكَةًسَيَّاحِينَفِيالْأَرْضِيُبَلِّغُونِيمِنْأُمَّتِيالسَّلاَمَ)).

Transliteration

Wa qala ﷺ: 'Inna lillahi mala'ikatan sayyahiina fil-ardi yuballighuni min ummati as-salam.'

Translation

The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Allah has angels who travel the earth, and they convey to me the greetings of peace from my Ummah.'

Context

The Prophet ﷺ informed us that Allah has appointed angels to travel the earth. These angels deliver the greetings and prayers of peace sent by his Ummah directly to him, showing Allah's immense care for His Messenger and the connection between the believers and the Prophet ﷺ.

Benefit

Reciting blessings and greetings upon the Prophet ﷺ ensures your messages of love and respect reach him, earning Allah's favor and the Prophet's intercession.

At any time, especially after prayers or when remembering the Prophet ﷺ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّتِكَ الَّتِي لاَ تَرْتَدُّ، أَنْ تُضِلَّنِي، أَنْتَ الْأَرْضُ وَالسَّمَوَاتُ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوْ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجِلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي.

O Allah, I seek refuge in Your might, which never wanes, that You lead me astray. You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is within them. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries.

Dua Before Sleep — Seeking Refuge in Allah's Noble Face

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ، وَبِكَلِمَاتِكَ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بِرٌّ وَلَا فَاجِرٌ، أَنْ تُقَلِّبَ عَلَيَّ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ، وَأَنْ تُصِيبَنِي وَحْدَةٌ، أَوْ خَوْفٌ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ.

O Allah, I seek refuge with Your Noble Face, and with Your Perfect Words, which no righteous person or wicked person exceeds, from turning over the night and the day upon me, and from being struck by loneliness or fear of an enemy.
