Transliteration
Mil'a as-samawati wa mil'a al-ardi, wa ma baynahuma, wa mil'a ma shi'ta min shay'in ba'd. Ahl ath-thana'i wal-majdi, ahqqa ma qal al-'abdu, wa kulluna laka 'abdun. Allahumma la mani'a lima a'tayt, wa la mu'tiya lima mana't, wa la yanfa'u dha al-jaddi mink al-jadd.
Translation
My Lord, You fill the heavens and the Earth and whatever is between them, and whatever You will after that. You are the Possessor of praise and majesty. The truest thing a slave has said (of You) is: 'We are all Your slaves.' O Allah, none can prevent what You have willed to bestow, and none can bestow what You have willed to prevent. No wealth or majesty can benefit anyone, as from You is all wealth and majesty.
Context
This is a continuation of the supplication recited after rising from ruku' (bowing) in prayer. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this to his companions, emphasizing the absolute power and sovereignty of Allah over all matters of provision and prevention.
Benefit
Reciting this dua affirms Allah's complete control over all affairs, fostering deep reliance on Him and contentment with His decree, whether it brings ease or hardship.
When to Recite
After rising from ruku' in prayer, recited with the previous part of the dua.
