Dua for Paradise and Refuge from Hellfire

((اللَّهُمَّإِنِّيأَسْأَلُكَالْجَنَّةَوَأَعُوذُبِكَمِنَالنَّارِ)).

Transliteration
Allahumma inni as'alukal-jannata wa a'udhu bika minan-nar.
Translation
O Allah, I ask You to grant me Paradise and I seek refuge in You from the Fire.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this supplication to be recited after the final Tashahhud, just before concluding the prayer. It is a direct request to Allah for the ultimate reward and protection from the ultimate punishment.

This dua encapsulates a Muslim's ultimate hope and fear, seeking Allah's mercy for entry into Paradise and His protection from the Hellfire, the two ultimate destinations.
When to Recite
After the final Tashahhud, before the Tasleem (ending the prayer).
