Dua for Protection Before Sleep

((اللَّهُمَّإِنَّكَخَلَقْتَنَفْسِيوَأَنْتَتَوَفَّاهَا،لَكَمَمَاتُهَاوَمَحْياهَا،إِنْأَحْيَيْتَهَافَاحْفَظْهَا،وَإِنْأَمَتَّهَافَاغْفِرْلَهَا.اللَّهُمَّإِنِّيأَسْأَلُكَالعَافِيَةَ)).

Transliteration
Allahumma, innaka khalaqta nafsi wa anta tawaffaha, laka mamatuhā wa mahyāhā. In aḥyaytahā fa-ḥfaẓhā, wa in amattahā fa-ghfir lahā. Allahumma, innī as'alukal-'āfiyah.
Translation
O Allah, You created my soul and You will cause it to die. To You belongs its death and its life. If You keep it alive, protect it. If You cause it to die, forgive it. O Allah, I ask You for well-being.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this comprehensive supplication to his daughter Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) to recite before sleeping. It acknowledges Allah's absolute control over life and death, seeking His protection and forgiveness.
