Funeral Prayer Supplication — Allahumma Ighfir Li Hayyina wa Mayyitina

((اللَّهُمَّاغْفِرْلِحَيِّنَاوَمَيِّتِنَا،وَشَاهِدِنَاوَغَائِبِنَا،وَصَغِيرِنَاوَكَبيرِنَا،وَذَكَرِنَاوَأُنْثَانَا.اللَّهُمَّمَنْأَحْيَيْتَهُمِنَّافَأَحْيِهِعَلَىالْإِسْلاَمِ،وَمَنْتَوَفَّيْتَهُمِنَّافَتَوَفَّهُعَلَىالإِيمَانِ،اللَّهُمَّلاَتَحْرِمْنَاأَجْرَهُ،وَلاَتُضِلَّنَابَعْدَهُ)).

Transliteration
Allahumma ighfir li hayyina wa mayyitina, wa shahidina wa gha'ibina, wa saghirina wa kabirina, wa dhakarina wa unthana. Allahumma man ahyaytahu minna fa-ahyihi 'ala al-Islam, wa man tawaffaytahu minna fa-tawaffahu 'ala al-iman. Allahumma la tahrimna ajrahu, wa la tudhillana ba'dahu.
Translation
O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those present and those absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whoever You keep alive among us, then keep him alive upon Islam, and whoever You cause to die, then cause him to die upon faith. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward, and do not let us stray after him.
Context
This is a comprehensive supplication recited by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ during the funeral prayer. It encompasses asking for forgiveness for all Muslims, both alive and deceased, and for guidance for those still living to remain steadfast on Islam and faith.
