Transliteration

Subhana Rabbiyal Adheem

Translation

Glory be to my Lord, the Most Magnificent. Glory be to my Lord, the Most Magnificent.

Context

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught his Companions to recite this supplication during the bowing (ruku') portion of the prayer. It is a fundamental part of the ritual, expressing humility and glorification of Allah while physically submitting.

Benefit

Reciting this glorifies Allah during a posture of deep submission, acknowledging His supreme greatness and perfection while in the heart of the prayer.

O Allah, I ask You for the guidance of those who repent, the repentance of those with certainty, the intention of the righteous, the knowledge of the best, the love of the righteous, reliance on You like the best, contentment with what is little, acceptance of destiny, gratitude in times of ease, and remembrance in times of hardship. O Allah, I ask You for everlasting bliss, and coolness of the eye that never ceases, and Your pleasure at death, and Your forgiveness after death, and well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, by Your mercy I seek help; rectify for me all my affairs and do not entrust me to my soul even for the blink of an eye.
