رَّبِّإِنِّيمَغْلُوبٌفَانتَصِرْ

Transliteration

Rabbi inni maghlubun fantasir

Translation

My Lord, indeed I am overpowered, so give me victory.

Context

This is the supplication of Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) when his people rejected his message and continued in disbelief and oppression. He turned to Allah in a state of deep distress and reliance.

Benefit

This dua is a powerful expression of reliance on Allah when facing overwhelming opposition and injustice. It reminds us to turn to our Creator for help when all other means seem to fail.

O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant. I keep Your covenant and my pledge to You as best I can. I take refuge in You from the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin — so forgive me, for none forgives sins but You.
