Transliteration
Khayru ad-du'a'i yawmu 'Arafah, wa khayru ma qultu ana wa an-nabiyyuna min qabli: La ilaha ill-Allahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.
Translation
The best of supplications is the supplication on the Day of Arafah. The best that I and the Prophets before me have said is: None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise, and He is over all things omnipotent.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ declared the supplication recited on the Day of Arafah as the best. He also taught that the most excellent dhikr, both for himself and all preceding prophets, is the declaration of Tawhid: 'None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise, and He is over all things omnipotent.'
Benefit
This powerful declaration affirms Allah's absolute oneness and sovereignty, fostering deep conviction in His power and majesty. Reciting it on Arafat day amplifies its spiritual significance, seeking Allah's forgiveness and acceptance.
When to Recite
On the Day of Arafah (9th of Dhu al-Hijjah), especially during the peak time of supplication.
