اللَّهُمَّأَنْتَحَسَّنْتَخَلْقِيفَحَسِّنْخُلُقِي

Transliteration

Allāhumma anta ḥassanta khalqī fa-ḥassin khuluqī.

Translation

O Allah, You have made my form beautiful, so make my character beautiful.

Context

The Prophet ﷺ taught this profound supplication to be recited when one looks at their reflection. It serves as a reminder that true beauty encompasses both outward appearance and inner character.

By reciting this dua, a Muslim acknowledges Allah's blessings in their physical creation and seeks His aid in cultivating an equally beautiful character, striving for inner and outer harmony.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ، سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجِلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي.

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, and son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone in Your creation, or taught to any one of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ دَخَلَ السُّوقَ فَقَالَ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ كُلُّهُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever enters the market and says: None is worthy of worship but Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is Ever-Living, never to die. In His hand is all good, and He is over all things competent. Allah will forgive him his past sins.'

Dua for Healing — Allahumma Rabb an-Nas

أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، رَبَّ النَّاسِ، وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا.

Remove the suffering, O Lord of mankind. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.
