Dua for When an Affair Becomes Difficult

يَاحَيُّيَاقَيُّومُبِرَحْمَتِكَأَسْتَغِيثُ

Transliteration
Yā ḥayyu yā qayyūmu bi-raḥmatika astaghīth
Translation
O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining, by Your mercy I seek help.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would say this dua when an affair became difficult. He taught it to Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) who would frequently recite it.
Benefit
This supplication directly calls upon Allah's eternal life and His self-sufficiency, seeking His mercy for assistance in times of hardship.
