رَبَّنَااكْشِفْعَنَّاالْعَذَابَإِنَّامُؤْمِنُونَ

Transliteration

Rabbana-kshif 'annal-'adhaba inna mu'minun.

Translation

Our Lord, remove from us the punishment. Indeed, we are believers.

Context

This supplication is found in the Quran, attributed to the people of Pharaoh during a time of great distress. It is a plea to Allah for the removal of torment, combined with a declaration of faith.

O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant. I keep Your covenant and my pledge to You as best I can. I take refuge in You from the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin — so forgive me, for none forgives sins but You.
