Dua for Entering the Market
Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhi 3428
لَاإِلَٰهَإِلَّااللهُوَحْدَهُلَاشَرِيكَلَهُ،لَهُالْمُلْكُوَلَهُالْحَمْدُ،يُحْيِيوَيُمِيتُوَهُوَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَيْءٍقَدِيرٌ

Transliteration
Lā ilāha illā Allāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, yuḥyī wa yumītu wa huwa ‘alā kulli shay’in qadīr.
Translation
There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is capable of all things.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this supplication for when one enters the marketplace. It is a reminder of Allah's absolute power and dominion, even in a place often filled with worldly distractions. He ﷺ specifically mentioned that reciting this earns great rewards.
Benefit
Reciting this dua upon entering the market is said to earn one a million good deeds, erase a million bad deeds, and elevate one's rank by a million levels.
