Dua for Anxiety Before Sleep

اللَّهُمَّرَبَّالسَّمَاوَاتِالسَّبْعِ،وَرَبَّالْعَرْشِالْعَظِيمِ،كُنْلِيجَارًامِنْشَرِّالسَّمَاعِوَالشَّرِّالْقَدَرِ،وَمِنْشَرِّإِبْلِيسَوَشَرَكِهِ،وَأَنْيَكُونَعَلَيَّأَحَدٌأَشَدُّمِنْهُ،أَنْيَفْرُطَعَلَيَّأَوْأَنْأَطْغَى،سُبْحَانَكَاللَّهُمَّ،لاَإِلَهَإِلاَّأَنْتَ.

Transliteration
Allahumma Rabba as-samawati as-sab', wa Rabba al-'arsh al-'adheem. Kun li jaaran min sharri as-samaa'i wa sharri al-qadari, wa min sharri Ibleesa wa shurikihi, wa an yakuna 'alayya ahadun ashadd minhu, an yafruta 'alayya aw an atgha. Subhanaka Allahumma, la ilaha illa Anta.
Translation
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Mighty Throne, be my shield against the evil of the sky and the evil of fate, and against the evil of Iblis and his accomplices. Protect me from anyone stronger than him, lest he should wrong me or transgress against me. Glory be to You, O Allah, there is no god but You.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this supplication to a companion who was suffering from intense fear and anxiety at night. He instructed him to recite it when going to bed to seek Allah's protection.
Benefit
This dua offers comprehensive protection by invoking Allah's lordship over the heavens and the Throne, seeking refuge from all forms of evil, including spiritual temptations and potential harm from others.
