((بِسْمِاللَّهِ،اللَّهُمَّجَنِّبْنَاالشَّيْطَانَ،وَجَنِّبِالشَّيْطَانَمَارَزَقْتَنَا)).

Transliteration

Bismillah, Allahumma jannibna ash-shaytan, wa jannib ash-shaytan ma razaqtana.

Translation

In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep the devil away from us, and keep the devil away from that which You have bestowed upon us.

Context

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this supplication to be recited before engaging in intercourse. It is a prayer for protection for both the couple and their potential offspring from the whispers and influence of Satan.

Benefit

Reciting this dua seeks Allah's protection, invoking His name to ward off Satan's interference and ensure the sanctity of the union and its progeny.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ، وَبِكَلِمَاتِكَ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بِرٌّ وَلَا فَاجِرٌ، أَنْ تُقَلِّبَ عَلَيَّ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ، وَأَنْ تُصِيبَنِي وَحْدَةٌ، أَوْ خَوْفٌ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ.

O Allah, I seek refuge with Your Noble Face, and with Your Perfect Words, which no righteous person or wicked person exceeds, from turning over the night and the day upon me, and from being struck by loneliness or fear of an enemy.

O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, instead of what You have made unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need anyone other than You.
