Dua of Adam and Eve for Forgiveness

رَبَّنَاظَلَمْنَاأَنفُسَنَاوَإِنلَّمْتَغْفِرْلَنَاوَتَرْحَمْنَالَنَكُونَنَّمِنَالْخَاسِرِينَ

Transliteration
Rabbana dhalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakoonanna minal-khaasireen.
Translation
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
Context
This is the supplication made by Prophet Adam and his wife Hawa (Eve) after they ate from the forbidden tree. They immediately recognized their mistake and turned to Allah with sincere repentance.
Benefit
This dua teaches the profound importance of acknowledging one's sins and seeking Allah's forgiveness and mercy. It shows that sincere repentance is the path to avoiding loss and ruin.
