Dua for When Tragedy Strikes

((إِنَّالِلَّهِوَإِنَّاإِلَيْهِرَاجِعُونَ،اللَّهُمَّأْجُرْنِيفِيمُصِيبَتِي،وَأَخْلِفْلِيخَيْرَاًمِنْهَا)).

Transliteration
Innā li-llāhi wa innā ilayhi rāji‘ūn. Allāhumma’jurnī fī muṣībatī, wa’akhlif lī khayran minhā.
Translation
To Allah we belong, and to Him we return. O Allah, reward me for my suffering and grant me something better in exchange.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this supplication to a companion whose wife passed away. It is a profound expression of faith, acknowledging that all blessings come from Allah and will return to Him.
