Dua When Something Becomes Difficult

إِنَّمَاالْأَمْرُمَحْزُونَةٌفَإِذَارَأَيْتَذَلِكَفَكَبِّرْوَهَلِّلْوَسَبِّحْوَاحْمَدْوَادْعُاللَّهَعَزَّوَجَلَّحَتَّىٰيَأْتِيَكَالْفَرَجُ

Transliteration
Innama al-amru mahzoonah. Fa-idha ra'ayta dhalika fa-kabbir wa hallil wa sabbih w-ahmid w-ad'u Allaha 'azza wa jalla hatta ya'tiyakal-faraj.
Translation
Indeed, matters are constrained. When you see that, then declare the greatness of Allah, say 'La ilaha illallah', glorify Him, praise Him, and call upon Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, until relief comes to you.
Context
This supplication was taught by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to his companions when they faced difficult or overwhelming situations. It is a comprehensive call to remembrance and supplication, guiding believers on how to respond when challenges arise.
Benefit
This dua teaches that when faced with hardship, the believer should turn to Allah through remembrance and direct supplication, trusting that relief is in His hands. It shifts focus from the difficulty to the power and mercy of Allah.
