Dua for Entering a Town or Village

((اللَّهُمَّرَبَّالسَّمَوَاتِالسَّبْعِوَمَاأَظْلَلْنَ،وَرَبَّالأَرَضِينَالسَّبْعِوَمَاأَقْلَلْنَ،وَرَبَّالشَّياطِينِوَمَاأَضْلَلْنَ،وَرَبَّالرِّيَاحِوَمَاذَرَيْنَ،أَسْأَلُكَخَيْرَهَذِهِالْقَرْيَةِ،وَخَيْرَأَهْلِهَا،وَخَيْرَمَافِيهَا،وَأَعُوذُبِكَمِنْشَرِّهَا،وَشَرِّأَهْلِهَا،وَشَرِّمَافِيهَا)).

Transliteration
Allahumma Rabba as-samawati as-sab'i wa ma azlalna, wa Rabba al-aradeena as-sab'i wa ma aqlalna, wa Rabba ash-shayateeni wa ma adlalna, wa Rabba ar-riyah wa ma dharayna, as'aluka khayra hadhihi al-qaryati, wa khayra ahliha, wa khayra ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha, wa sharri ahliha, wa sharri ma fiha.
Translation
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all they cover, Lord of the seven earths and all they hold. I ask You for the goodness of this town and its people, and all that is within it. I seek refuge in You from its evil, its people, and all that is within it.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this supplication for when one enters a new town or village. It acknowledges Allah's dominion over all creation and seeks His blessings while warding off potential harm.
Benefit
This dua invokes Allah's protection and asks for His blessings upon entering a new place, ensuring a safe and beneficial stay for both the traveler and the inhabitants.
