The Master of Seeking Forgiveness

وَقَالَصلىاللهعليهوسلم:((مَنْقَالَأَسْتَغْفِرُاللَّهَالْعَظيمَالَّذِيلاَإِلَهَإِلاَّهُوَالْحَيُّالقَيّوُمُوَأَتُوبُإِلَيهِ،غَفَرَاللَّهُلَهُوَإِنْكَانَفَرَّمِنَالزَّحْفِ)).

Transliteration
Astaghfirullah al-adheem alladhi la ilaha illa huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilayh.
Translation
I seek Allah’s forgiveness, the Mighty, besides Whom there is no deity, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer. I turn to Him in repentance.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this supplication, known as Sayyid al-Istighfar (the Master of Seeking Forgiveness), emphasizing its immense power. He stated that reciting it sincerely would lead to Allah's forgiveness, even for a grave sin like fleeing from battle.

This profound dua promises comprehensive forgiveness from Allah, covering even major sins, for those who recite it with sincere belief and repentance.

Recite in the morning and evening, once each.
