Transliteration
Allahumma sqina ghaithan mughithan mari'an mari'an, nafi'an ghayra dharin, 'ajilan ghayra ajilin.
Translation
O Allah, grant us helpful, wholesome and healthy rain. Make it beneficial and not harmful, arriving soon and not delayed.
Context
During a drought, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ supplicated to Allah for rain. He asked for rain that would be life-giving and beneficial for the land and its people, without causing any harm.
Benefit
This supplication seeks Allah's mercy during times of need, asking for sustenance and relief through rain that brings life and prosperity without destruction.
When to Recite
Recited during times of drought or when seeking rain.
