Transliteration
Allahumma sayyiban nafi'an.
Translation
O Allah, make it a beneficial downpour.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would say this supplication when the rain began to fall, asking Allah to make the rain a source of good and benefit for the people and the land.
Benefit
This dua seeks Allah's blessing in the rain, ensuring it brings life and prosperity rather than harm or destruction.
