Dua for Visiting the Sick — Allahumma Rabb al-Arsh al-Adheem

((أَسْأَلُاللَّهَالْعَظيمَرَبَّالْعَرْشِالْعَظِيمِأَنْيَشْفيَكَ))(سبعمرات).

Transliteration

As'alu Allaha al-'Adheem, Rabba al-'Arsh al-'Adheem, an yashfiyaka. (seven times)

Translation

I ask Allah, the Magnificent, Lord of the Mighty Throne, to grant you recovery. (Recite seven times).

Context

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this supplication to be recited seven times for a sick person. It is a powerful way to seek Allah's healing for those who are unwell.

Benefit

Reciting this dua with sincerity is a means of seeking Allah's immense mercy and complete healing for the sick, as He is the Lord of the entire creation.

I acknowledge before You Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin — so forgive me, for none forgives sins but You.
