Dua for Meeting an Adversary or Ruler

اللَّهُمَّإِنِّيأَجْعَلُكَفِينُحُورِهِمْ،وَأَعُوذُبِكَمِنْشُرُورِهِمْ

Transliteration
Allahumma inni aj'aluka fi nuhurihim, wa a'udhu bika min shururihim.
Translation
O Allah, I place You before them, and I seek refuge in You from their evil.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this dua to his companions when they feared facing an enemy or a tyrannical ruler. It is a powerful supplication asking Allah to protect them by placing Him as a barrier against their adversaries.
Benefit
This dua invokes Allah's protection and sufficiency, turning the tables on those who intend harm and seeking refuge from their wickedness.
