Dua for the Terminally Ill — O Allah, Forgive Me

((اللَّهُمَّاغْفِرْلِي،وَارْحَمْنِي،وَأَلْحِقْنِيبِالرَّفِيقِالْأَعْلَى)).

Transliteration
Allahumma ighfir li, warhamni, wa alhiqni bir-rafiqil-a'la.
Translation
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, and unite me with the Highest Companions.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ uttered these words in his final moments. He was asking Allah for forgiveness and mercy, and to join Him with the most excellent companions in Paradise.
Benefit
This dua expresses a believer's ultimate hope: to meet Allah with sins forgiven and to be in the company of the righteous in the hereafter.
