Dua for Protection Before Sleep

اللَّهُمَّإِنِّيأَعُوذُبِعِزَّتِكَالَّتِيلاَتَرْتَدُّ،أَنْتُضِلَّنِي،أَنْتَالْأَرْضُوَالسَّمَوَاتُوَمَنْفِيهِنَّ،أَسْأَلُكَبِكُلِّاسْمٍهُوَلَكَسَمَّيْتَبِهِنَفْسَكَ،أَوْأَنْزَلْتَهُفِيكِتَابِكَ،أَوْعَلَّمْتَهُأَحَدًامِنْخَلْقِكَ،أَوْاسْتَأْثَرْتَبِهِفِيعِلْمِالْغَيْبِعِنْدَكَ،أَنْتَجْعَلَالْقُرْآنَرَبِيعَقَلْبِي،وَنُورَصَدْرِي،وَجِلَاءَحُزْنِي،وَذَهَابَهَمِّي.

Transliteration
Allahumma innee a'oodhu bi-'izzatika allathee la tartaddu, an tudhillanee, anta al-ardhu wa as-samawaatu wa man feehinna. As'aluka bikulli ismin huwa laka sammayta bihi nafsaka, aw anzaltahu fee kitābika, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, aw ista'tharta bihi fee 'ilm al-ghaybi 'indaka, an taj'ala al-Qur'ana rabee'a qalbee, wa noora sadree, wa jilaa'a huznee, wa dhahaba hammee.
Translation
O Allah, I seek refuge in Your might, which never wanes, that You lead me astray. You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is within them. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries.
Context
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this comprehensive supplication to a companion who was suffering from anxiety and distress. It is a powerful way to seek refuge in Allah's power and ask Him to make the Quran a source of peace and guidance.
Benefit
This dua seeks protection from misguidance and asks Allah to make the Quran the ultimate source of comfort, clarity, and relief from all troubles.
When to Recite
Upon going to sleep, after reciting other recommended duas and dhikr.
