Transliteration
A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajeem, wa-tful 'ala yasarika (thalaathan).
Translation
I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan. And spit to your left three times.
Context
The Companion Uthman ibn Al-'As (may Allah be pleased with him) complained to the Prophet ﷺ about Satan distracting him during prayer. The Prophet ﷺ instructed him to seek Allah's refuge and to spit towards his left side three times to ward off this specific devil, known as Khanzab.
Benefit
This supplication is a direct command from the Prophet ﷺ to combat Satan's whispers, offering a practical spiritual remedy for confusion and distraction during worship.
